One of the important aspects to the sound design in ESO is attention to detail. The way we tag up player animations is no different. A lot of sound design is selling “movement” whether it’s how a fireball moves through the air, or actual movement of a player. When designing the various movement type sounds it was important to try to get every little detail into it. It helps the player feel impressed in their character. You will notice it in how the rag sounds wet when the player is cleaning a mug, or the rattle of the door that continues a little bit after the player bangs on it.
