Each class comes with them a set of unique abilities. As with the visuals, it was important to capture the essence of each class and create a palate that was used across each ability. You will notice with the Templar, which uses a lot of “light” to casts their abilities the sounds I used cater more to the upper frequency range, while the Dragon Knight, who uses a lot of “fire” to cast their abilities, I pumped up the low end. This works well in Player vs Player situations, as it helps the player understand what kind of abilities are being cast on them when fighting. It also helps to decrease a muddy mix during big fights.
